The America’s Cup: A New Era Of Boating In Barcelona 

As the bustling Mediterranean city of Barcelona is gearing up to host the 36th edition of the America’s Cup, we look into the events, the city, and the opportunities for the future of boating. America’s Cup is the oldest international sporting trophy in the world, inaugurated by a race around the UK’s Isle of Wight back in 1851. Fast forward to 2024; the action will be around Barcelona’s Port Vell this year. Situated on the edge of the Gothic Quarter, a stone’s throw from the famous Las Ramblas.

The official race village in Port Vell will be inviting everyone to get a view of the boats and teams with viewing screens to watch the action.
