Our favourite worldwide Luxury Yacht Charters – Part II

JACKIE ONE

Following on from Part I of our first ever edition of the Boatbookings.com brokers favourite yachts of the month, Part II aims to complete our October favourite luxury yachts.  It is unquestionable that a luxury yacht charter on DAMRAK II or an event charter on NINAH would be beatable, however we believe that JACKIE ONE, TIGER LILY OF LONDON and MISTRAL 55 could also offer you one of the most incredible experiences and holidays of your life.

JACKIE ONE is a luxurious Amercraft 26m motor yacht with 4 staterooms, accommodating up to 8 guests. She has undergone a complete makeover in 2007, which included a Jacuzzi, as well a complete interior refit. She has a great crew, including a very experienced captain who has extensive knowledge of the Amalfi Coast, as well as a chef whose cuisine is second to none. We would highly recommend her for both families and friends for a weeks duration, where guests can soak up the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast, as well as the beautiful weather. There is no better place to be than in the Jacuzzi on her Flybridge with a glass of champagne and watching the sunset over Positano.

TIGER LILY OF LONDON

TIGER LILY OF LONDON is another one of our favourite luxury yachts available in Spain, Ibiza and Majorca. She is a stunning Pershing 90 motor yacht, with 3 cabins and accommodation for 7 guests. She is the perfect luxury day charter yacht or for multiple days around the beautiful islands of Majorca and Ibiza. She has great outdoor space, with plenty of space for guests to sunbathe and soak up the golden rays of the Mediterranean Sun. She is an impressive motor yacht, with speeds of up to 44 knots whilst maintaining great comfort. She has enough water toys for the whole family, including Seadoo’s, scuba gear, snorkelling equipment as well as a fast tender to enjoy the doughnuts, water skis and wakeboards. MISTRAL 55

MISTRAL 55 is the final yacht to feature in the October edition of our favourite charter yachts. She is a luxurious Pershing 115, who was recently on show at the Cannes Boat Show 2012. She is a very fast yacht, which can reach speeds of up to 50 knots, thanks to a gas turbine, making it possible to go from Monaco to St Tropez in an hour! She can provide accommodation for up to 10 guests in 4 modern cabins, as well as beautiful decks and living areas. She is a great choice for a day charter to the exclusive Pampelonne Beach and would not look out of place amongst the Super Yachts. Why not try a lunch reservation at Kailargo or La Ramatuelle, fantastic restaurants on offer at the celebrity hotspot, Nioulargo Beach. She is a very popular day charter option for friends or family and will not disappoint.

Our favourite worldwide Luxury Yacht Charters – Part I

Boatbloggings.com welcomes you to the October edition of our favourite worldwide Luxury Yacht Charters. In this edition, we will look at some of our favourite yachts, ranging from TIGER LILY OF LONDON to NINAH, a beautiful event yacht.

The first yacht we would like to introduce to you is NINAH. She is a stunning event catamaran, capable of holding up to 56 passengers, perfect for weddings, conferences, business events, or just large family outings. NINAH is also great for all of the events on the French Riviera, such as MIPIM, and even the Monaco Grand Prix. Her large outdoor areas and bright interior complements its size, and even though she is 78 foot, she feels a lot bigger, even at full capacity.

Fort Lauderdale International Yacht Show 2012

Coming up in the next few weeks is another of the greatest yacht shows around. Fort Lauderdale is widely considered to be one of the central hubs of the yachting world, and we’re sure that the yacht show this October won’t disappoint.

The show will run from Friday 26th October until Monday 29th October, with a preview day on Thursday 25th. On top of the fine yachts on display, there will be a variety of yacht builders, and even some exotic cars. Split over six locations, water-taxis and shuttle buses will make sure visitors are able to easily access all parts of the yacht show, which covers 3 million square feet.

Benetti and Palmer Johnson are amongst the manufacturers on show. WILD THYME is one of our Charter Broker’s favourite yachts, available for charter. She is a stunning 120ft Benetti, with 5 luxurious cabins, and a fantastic crew. For more information, please see here.

New James Bond film, Skyfall features the luxury sailboat charter yacht REGINA.

Skyfall is the latest film in the 007 James Bond collection starring Daniel Craig. The film is set to be another blockbuster hit, which sees Bond’s commitment to M put into jeopardy as a ghost from the past comes to haunt her. James Bond is synonymous with glamour, gadgets and action and the latest movie is no exception. However, Skyfall also features one of our favourite modern day sailing yachts REGINA, a 56m Schooner built by Med Yachts.

She has 6 impressive staterooms, accommodating up to 12 guests. She has 7 crew, who will attend to your every need to make your cruise as enjoyable as possible. The master cabin includes a large bedroom with a lounge, a walk in wardrobe and a luxurious marble en-suite bathroom. REGINA`s interior is a beautiful mélange of dark wood and soft furnishings. 52nd Genoa International Boat Show

The countdown to the 52nd Genoa International Boat Show has begun. With more than 1,400 boats on show over the coming week, this year’s event promises to be bigger than ever. The Show is organised by Fiera di Genova SpA and UCINA (Italy’s professional association of the yachting industry) and is set on a 200,000 square-metre exhibition area that includes parts of the old town and port of Genoa.Screen-Shot-2012-10-04-at-16.13.58Due to Genoa’s prominence in the ship and yacht building industry, and the popularity of nautical tourism along the Italian Riviera, the 1st International Boat Show took place in January 1962. With more than 300,000 visitors that year, it was an instant success and has continued to draw huge crowds ever since. This year’s Boat Show will offer a wide range of sea sport opportunities for younger visitors and features a wonderfully-planned itinerary that is devoted to Italian sea sport and local Genoese boat building traditions. The Show will be open every day next week (Saturday 6th – Sunday 14th October) and will feature a special entertainment programme for the public on its opening evening.

Visitors do not only marvel at the many yachts on show but can also browse through the many stands exhibited by more than 900 companies selling ship components, accessories, motors, electronics and water sports equipment.

One company that is ever-present in Genoa is the Azimut Benetti Group, who have always had a particularly strong relationship with the organisers of the Boat Show. Such is their relationship that this year Azimut Benetti will have the highest number of motor boats on show exceeding 10 metres.

Included among the 26 Azimut Benetti boats on show is the fantastic Azimut 62S. In 2007, the 62S was voted “Boat of the Year” by the British boating pressin for the over -45’ sport cruiser category, while she also won European Boat of the Year at the Dusseldorf Boat Show.
