A Fortunate Stroke of SERENDIPITY on the Charter Market!

Here at Boatbookings.com we love Sunseekers, and the 37 metre model is without a doubt one of our favourites. Offering three enormous decks of space whilst maintaining sporty Sunseeker pedigree, these flagship models have been iconic of the Sunseeker brand for the past few years and rightly so as they have been immensely popular among owners and charter guests alike. Unfortunately as of late some of our favourites have disappeared from the charter market, DEVOCEAN causing great upset with her disappearance this spring. Just like all the other clouds, there is a silver lining here – SERENDIPITY is a stunning 2009 version of the 37m Sunseeker now available for charter.

She offers unrivalled cabin volume for her size, accommodating 12 comfortably in 2 master suites, 2 further doubles and 2 twins. With this SERENDIPITY offers excellent flexibility for two families to get together and charter this beautiful yacht. Outside she has as expected many dining options, as well as a huge sundeck bar, just a stone’s throw from the large jacuzzi and sunbathing area.

The interior is full of rich colours, matched with huge windows flooding the yacht with a positive feeling and plenty of natural light. Stand-out patterning on the carpet is a highlight for us, making the cabins feel large and spacious with huge energy levels.

SERENDIPITY is available late June in the West Mediterranean, moving East for August and September. The charter fees are at €105,000 – €125,000 per week plus expenses, unrivalled for her accommodation, age and style. Contact us today for more information.

QUATTROELLE – The Latest Example of the Finest German Engineering

All over the Mediterranean things are starting to hot up for summer and what better way to enjoy the sun than on a brand new super yacht. German shipbuilder Lurssen have decided to kick the fun off early this year with the release of their new 88m yacht Quattroelle. The Germans don’t have the greatest reputation when it comes to having fun but, if this stunning new release is anything to go by, they’re certainly good at giving others the opportunity to have the time of their lives.

1

From all angles QUATTROELLE is a beautiful boat. The helicopter pad on the front perfectly sums up the level of indulgent wealth that you can expect to find onboard and, the beautifully laid out stern will ensure that she turns the heads of envious onlookers at port.

2

The outdoor spaces are superb. 3 upper decks at the the stern all have spacious seating areas in both sun and shade. Whether you are sitting back with a cocktail, dining al fresco or cooling off in the stunning pool, you will not fail to be impressed.

The luxuries continue inside in the salons. Plush carpeting and quintessentially elegant furniture which wouldn’t look out of place in a country estate is all lit beautifully by large windows which offer stunning panoramic views in turn.

The cabins are similarly well appointed and refined. Large, inviting beds stand in light and airy staterooms which are spacious and refined with a contemporary feel.

QUATROELLE is just one example of the outstanding luxury available on the charter market. To find out about what else is available or for information about chartering a yacht please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Boatbookings team.

Award-Winning Design and Back on the Charter Market – QUARANTA!

Here at Boatbookings we like to think we have an eye for the most beautifully designed yachts on the charter market, whether they’re weird and wonderful or beautifully traditional. Our favourite interior so far has been on SEALYON, for more information see our blog article. Today we’re focusing on clever and practical, which brings us to the fantastic luxury crewed power catamaran QUARANTA. Built by the Curvelle shipyard in 2013, her exterior lines ooze modernity and a certain futuristic style rarely seen on the sea. She won the Best Catamaran award at The World Superyacht Awards 2014.

From the aft, QUARANTA resembles the classic tri-deck monohull motor yacht style, offering voluminous shaded deck spaces for dining and relaxing. Her flybridge offers all the dining, sunbathing and jacuzzi amenities found on a 50 metre motor yacht. The first difference you notice is her Limousine tender suspended on a hydraulic platform, an excellent idea for keeping dry and dropping smoothly and stylishly into the water. This platform doubles up as a sunbathing “beach club” area as well as providing a “bubbles and waterfalls spa effect” when partially submerged.

As well as all this outside, QUARANTA also has 6 cabins, comfortably accommodating 12 guests. All very standard you might think, but she actually has over 20 possibilities for cabin layouts due to her cabins being convertible from twin, to double and even to triple for kids. All the cabins have large windows, bringing in floods of natural light and making all the spaces feel bright, positive and sociable.

QUARANTA provides all of the above as well as an excellent crew led by Captain Paul Fraser and a vast selection of water toys. She does all this, and manages to provide space of a 40 metre plus yacht in just 34 metres! This clever and efficient design is available this summer in the East Mediterranean with prices ranging from just €125,000 per week to €145,000 per week high season.

News and Reviews at The Palma Superyacht Show 2014!

From one yacht show to another this week… today sees the beginning of the Superyacht show in Palma, Mallorca. A brokerage and charter show, there’s several well-known charter boats on display with some old favourites and some new to the charter market in Spain. This is only the second edition of the superyacht show, and it has returned following the success of the Palma Superyacht Brokerage and Charter Show in May 2013. This show will continue to only exhibit yachts of an impressive 24 metres and above.

First up is a new addition to the charter market in Spain, POWDERMONKEY. Our team on the French Riviera were gutted to see her leave her prime position in Antibes last year, having received a Spanish charter license, heading to Palma for the upcoming season. This luxury crewed motor yacht offers unrivalled value for money, accommodating up to 10 guests at a very competitive €49,000 per week high season. She’s a fun family boat with spacious cabins, classic interior, fun splashes of colour throughout and an extensive water sports inventory. POWDERMONKEY has had multiple technical and visual upgrades meaning she’s in pristine condition ready for this summer.

BenitaBlueBenitaBlue1

Next up is BENITA BLUE from Evolution Yachts in Australia. She combines the weird and wonderful to create extensive space of a much larger yacht. Her sleek, outlandish and bright exterior colouring is contrasted by the quiet cool of her neutral interior. Whilst the owners of BENITA BLUE are keen to move on before the summer season arrives, we’re confident she’ll be back on the charter market in time for high season in the Mediterranean. Again she’s a perfect family boat with two doubles, two twins and a convertible office for an extra two berths.

The MYBA Charter Show is one like no other, the key yachts on the charter market for the upcoming season are exhibited for brokers worldwide to see.  The show is famed for signalling the start of the Mediterranean season, with many of the exhibited yachts zipping away from the show and welcoming clients on board. Genoa is a show where every aspect of the yacht is exhibited, offering the chance to show off the most professional captains, talented chefs and the craziest new water toys. Everything kicks off today, and we have a couple of favourites in the port.

ALEXANDRAV

ALEXANDRA V is a stunning Princess 95, she returns for the 2014 charter season following an extensive re-fit leaving her in “like-new” condition. She offers huge exterior and interior volume with her large flybridge and full-beam master cabin, her layout is perfect for families and friends alike.

ALEXANDRA1ALEXANDRA2

The chef on board has a large portfolio of specialities, and loves cooking the finest food and loves tailoring menus to specific dietary requirements and prepares only organic, locally-sourced delights.

NASSIMACOMB1

Our other favourite is NASSIMA! She’s an absolutely stunning 2012 creation from Acico Yachts. She offers a huge master suite on the top deck, providing incredible views when sleeping at anchor. As well as this her incredibly equipped sundeck provides the ultimate in luxury hangouts. NASSIMA truly provides the perfect combination modern design, unparalleled luxury and contemporary class.
