Her elegant interior showcases a spacious salon with a large seating area where soft, neutral tones compliment her satin mahogany paneling. Capri Place to Be Summer 2015

Capri has been a favoured holiday spot since the Roman times. Located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula, the original Italian island retreat is the former home of Emperor Tiberius. Capri Port is both charming and elegant, and from here you can head up to Anacapri, which sits majestically above the village of Capri on Monte Cappello, 500 metres above sea level. Here you can experience the amazing lidos, or visit Villa San Michele. The chairlift from Anacapri up to Monte Solaro takes 12 minutes and provides you with breathtaking views of the island.

Beautiful Bodrum: A Turkish Delight

Having just read  Mark Twain’s “Innocents Abroad,” a classic account of tourism in Turkey, we’re now very excited about the thought of heading to the Turkish coast this summer.

Lying opposite the Greek island of Kos and jutting out into the Aegean, the waters off the Bodrum peninsula are perfect for a summer sailing holiday. The vibe is distinctly east meets west. The cuisine, bazaars and hammams are inherently oriental, with an easy going culture blending mosques with a bikini led lifestyle. Development has been carefully monitored and much of the peninsula retains its intrinsic character. The coastal towns and villages remain low rise against a back drop of pine clad hills, and are decorated by reflective and glorious blue water.
