Water Toys For Your Luxury Yacht Charter Part II

Following on from the incredible water toys described in Part I, we plan to follow suit with two more of the coolest water toys for your yacht! Water toys are often a defining part of a charter, if two yachts are identical, the only two things that will differ (other than the interior) are crew and water toys, which we believe are both very important.

Flyboard

Have you ever really wanted to pretend you were a dolphin? No? Well you might just want to after seeing the Flyboard. We are in absolute awe and we’re looking forward to upcoming seasons where lots of charter yachts have these water toys – because we know they’d be an absolute hit! Available from as little as £4,100 for personal purchasers, we know this is a great buy – maybe even an extravagant Christmas present if it suits!

An option of  a yacht that has lots of water toys is always a great choice, which is why we recommend this fantastic Sunseeker 82, available for charter in Cannes, Antibes, Juan les Pins and Golfe Juan, at a rate of €32400 per week plus expenses. For an 82 foot yacht, she has plenty of water toys for your charter, a tender with donuts and water skis, great fun for all the family!

Charter a Luxury Yacht to Keller Plage, Cap d’Antibes

Some way between Juan-les-Pins and Antibes on the French Riviera is a secluded bay – Cap d’Antibes. In the Cap, Keller Plage is a fantastic restaurant and beach, perfect for lunch on your day charter. We highly recommend the fish at the restaurant, and the Japanese Tuna entrée is absolutely exquisite.

If you’re looking for an alternative to sailing to St Tropez, but are looking for something as relaxing and memorable, why not charter out of Cannes, sail to the Iles des Lerins, where you can anchor in the pearly blue waters for some swimming. After working up an appetite, head to Keller Plage for a sumptuous meal and a relaxing time either on the sandy beaches, or on board your luxury yacht, with a drink in hand.

For your day out, we cannot recommend AQUA BLUE OF IRELAND highly enough. She is a stunning Sunseeker Predator 74, available for charter out of Cannes. She has sunbeds at the front of the yacht to accommodate at least 3 sunbathing, and can accommodate 10 whilst sailing for a day charter. If you’re looking to spend more than a day on board, she has 3 great cabins, which provide space for up to 6 guests. Please see below for a great video of AQUA BLUE OF IRELAND!

Luxury Yacht Charters in Cancún, Mexico

Screen-shot-2012-11-20-at-12.48.33Cancún is located on the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, just north of the Riviera Maya. The Riviera Maya is a collection of all-inclusive resorts, small boutique hotels and fantastic restaurants that straddle Mexico’s Caribbean coast along the coastal highway 307.

Cancún is a popular tourist destination due to the wide variety of aquatic activities available in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, which stretches for over 1000km towards Guatemala. This is the largest coral reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second longest barrier reef in the world. The shallow coral reefs and crystal clear waters make it one of the best locations for snorkeling and scuba diving in the world.

On top of more than 500 species of fish, divers and snorkelers have the opportunity to visit the Cancún Underwater Museum. This is a series of more than 400 sculptures by British artist Jason de Caires Taylor, which have been placed underwater in the Cancún National Marine Park at depths from 9-20 feet. If you don’t feel like diving or snorkeling, however, you could always relax on one of the many fantastic beaches such as Playa Caracol or Playa Langosta.

The northern areas of the reef system near Isla Contoy (only a short journey by boat from Cancún) are home to the largest fish on the planet, the Whale Shark. During the summer, hundreds of Whale Sharks gather here to take advantage of the plankton rich waters, which are created at the border of the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea.

Cancún is also one of the most popular sportfishing destinations in the world. Depending on the season that you visit, catches can include kingfish, barracuda, blue marlin, sailfish, tuna and mahi-mahi. On top of fishing, whale watching, snorkeling and scuba diving, holidaymakers have the opportunity to go swimming with dolphins, take guided jungle tours or visit one of the many historical sites such as the Mayan Ruins. In the evening, Cancún is well known for its parties and nightlife. Whether you like hip-hop or heavy rock, live reggae music, salsa dancing, or simply relaxing a sophisticated bar, the city offers it all.

One of our favorite yacht charters available in Cancún is AGUILA, a stunning Sunseeker Predator 73 with accommodation for 10 guests in 5 cabins. AGUILA is ideal for crewed charters in the Gulf of Mexico and the Yucatán Peninsula. Seven Luxury Sunseeker Charter Yachts in the Last Four Bond Movies!

When you think of James Bond, you think of a suave, sophisticated man, yet at the same time, the Bond movies are synonymous with action and endless streams of luxurious gadgets. The gadgets don’t just stop at Bond’s watch, or his car, they roam to the seas, in the shape of the Sunseeker.

Sunseeker is one of the world’s most prestigious luxury yacht manufacturers, and in keeping with the Bond theme, directors have placed seven Sunseeker yachts in four of the last Bond movies. In The World is not Enough (1999), a Sunseeker Superhawk 34 made it’s appearance, speeding down the River Thames in London as a pre-title scene. Following this, in Pierce Brosnan’s last movie, Die Another Day (2002), a larger Sunseeker Superhawk 48 sailed onto our screens, when Halle Berry climbed on board.

In the new era of Daniel Craig playing the role of Bond, Sunseekers have become even more frequent. In Casino Royale (2006), two Sunseekers were used. The focus of these was the Predator 108, with cameo roles from both the XS 2000 and the Sportsfish 37. Following this, in the last Bond movie to date, before the release of Skyfall, in Quantam of Solace(2008), a further three Sunseekers were utilized. A Superhawk 43, a smaller Sovereign 17, and a 37m M4.

Whilst we all wait on the release of the newest Bond movie, which has anJeel-II initial release date of the 22nd October 2012, we can’t help but look at all the gossip we know. In Skyfall, REGINA, a Pruva 56m sailboat, will be used. Her large sails and contemporary yet elegant interior would make for a fantastic charter, especially for those who are Bond lovers.

For those who are interested in chartering a fantastic Sunseeker, look no further than JEEL II, a Sunseeker 80, available for charter on the French Riviera. Her bright interior and large deck space are fantastic, complete with ample amounts of sunbathing area, enough for all passengers on board to enjoy the surroundings from the most luxurious of yachts.
