Formentera — the Ibiza of 40 Years Past
A 30-minute cruise from Ibiza, this 12-mile-long slip of an island is the under-the-radar Balearic: There’s not much more to it than stunning white sand kissed by cerulean sea. This idyllic paradise has remained relatively untouched for the last 40 years and resembles what Ibiza once was – a utopia offering peace and tranquility.
Discover the Quieter Side of Ibiza Next Summer
You need to act fast! Select one of the best of the few yachts available with a Spanish charter license next summer now in order to avoid disappointment. With the Spanish legislation for yacht charters being so stringent, the cream of the crop gets booked very early in the season. Don’t let yourself be fooled; there’s much more to Ibiza than bubble soaked parties. Unspoiled inland villages, undeveloped coves, and wild, beautiful countryside still exist, perfect to relax and unwind. At the Torre de Savinar, you can find the most magical views of the Es Vedra, a dramatic rock formation coming out of the ocean.
NEWS: Update on VAT for Charters in Spanish Waters
Enticed by the beautiful Balearics and the magic of Spain, but put off by the extra 21% payable in VAT? An update in Spanish law regarding VAT means this worry could disappear if you choose your yacht wisely! Until October 2013, only yachts up to 15 metres engaging in charter activity were exempt but on 28th the 15 metre specification was removed. Therefore all yachts flying an EU flag and exclusively engaging in charter activity are now exempt from taxation, and this includes paying for your vacation!
Flying the flag for Madeira is APACHE II! She’s a stunning 44 metre Baglietto launched in 2009 with beautiful exterior and modern and contemporary interior. APACHE II is rare in that she offers extensive inside and outside space whilst offering a sleek and sporty look, she cruises at a comfortable 17 knots meaning you can see the best of the Balearics in a week-long charter. Two unique terraces on either side of the saloon add a flowing feel of space and allow you to take in panoramic views on both sides.
APACHE II is also available for the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix, with the perk of a confirmed berth in Zone 2! For more information on chartering APACHE II or for luxury yacht charters in Spain, the Balearics and for events, contact our expert team today.
