Balearic Charters

Chartering in the Balearic Islands of Mallorca and Ibiza

You know Spain for tapas, paella, sun, beach, sand and the famous flair for living that permeates this beautiful country. The Balearic Islands of Mallorca and Ibiza offer all of this, plus some of the best chartering in the Mediterranean. A Balearic charter provides private sunsets while sipping sangria with your friends, swimming on deserted white sandy beaches below tree-lined cliffs, a barefoot gourmet lunch at a restaurant only available by boat. These islands offer solitude and calm if you want it, but also some of the best clubs and night life in the world.

Mallorca - The Holiday Island that Offers Everything

The island of Mallorca is beautiful and can offer everything you`d want in a yachting holiday. Enjoy the bustle of Palma, with the beautiful beaches of Illetas and Santa Ponsa, and then head to quieter ports such as Andratx. Here you can find natural beauty, solitude, excellent Spanish and Mediterranean restaurants and historical attractions such as the house palace of Son Mas and the ruins of the Sa Trapa Monastery. Andratx is also a perfect starting point for excursions to the island Isla Dragonera, and other points around the nearby coast.

Another must see in Mallorca is Valldemosa with its Real Cartuja and the charming ports of Deia and Soller. The bay of Pollenca and the Medieval Town of Alcudia are other recommended stops on your charter itinerary. You can use Mallorca as a base to explore the other Balearics (Ibiza and Menorca) or just enjoy the variety of the island and nearby Cabrera Archipelago Maritime National Park.

Ibiza - Spanish Holiday Paradise

The famed island of Ibiza offers an abundance of everything - sun, sea, sand, clubbing... and some excellent yachting. While the Ibiza night life is legendary, you will find deserted beaches such are Es Cavallet and Las Salinas (clothing optional), beautiful cliffs, quiet anchorages, the most beautiful sunsets and just about anything else you could want on a yachting holiday.

Ibiza Town has some excellent restaurants such as "La Brasa", great shopping and cafes, and provides the perfect contrast to Formentera for your jaunt to Formentera.

Formentera - Pristine Sandy Playland

Formentera is an island that is largely unsettled, and therefore pristine and unspoiled. The island is just south of Ibiza and a popular destination for day boat hires who go there to bathe, relax in the sun, and have a lunch at one of the beach restaurants in Playa de Illetas - the most famous being Juan Y Andrea, Molí de Sal, El Tiburon and the BesoBeach that is opening in June – don't miss it! The island is 19 kilometres long and is located approximately 3 nautical miles (6 km) south of Ibiza.

Poros Greece Yacht Show Report

Report from the Poros Greece Yacht Show

We've just returned from the Poros Yacht show, which featured over 90 crewed yachts ready for summer charters in the Greek and Turkish Aegean Sea waters. All types of yachts were on display - luxury motor yachts, sailing yachts, gulets and catamaran sailing yachts.

The show was beautifully organised, and we were able to meet the crews and inspect a large majority of the yachts. So if you are looking for the right yacht to charter in Greece or Turkey this summer, we can give you first hand advice!
