MYBA and Caribbean Charter Terms:
When chartering in the West Mediterranean, the charter fee includes the hire and insurance of the yacht, crew food and wages, and the yacht’s laundry. All other expenses, including fuel for the main engine, generators, water sports, equipment, all running costs, harbor fees, all food, soft and alcoholic drinks, communication costs, and local taxes, are additional.

Thus, an APA allowance generally calculated at 30% of the charter fee is required. A 20% French VAT and a 22% Italian VAT (for Sardinia pick-ups) are also due.

When chartering in the Caribbean, the charter fee includes the services of a captain and crew, meals, standard ship’s bar, fuel, cruising taxes, permits, and all expenses related to running the vessel, and use of onboard sports equipment. The charter fee does not include (optional) crew gratuities, premium beverages and fine wines, excessive alcoholic consumption, off-yacht excursions, dockage, telephone, airport transfers, or similar expense incurred by the Charterer.

Taxes, re-location fees, cruising permits, and licenses may be extra.
