Charter Terms:
When chartering in the West Mediterranean, the charter fee includes the hire and insurance of the yacht, crew food and wages, and the yacht’s laundry. All other expenses, including fuel for the main engine, generators, water sports, equipment, all running costs, harbor fees, all food, soft and alcoholic drinks, communication costs, and local taxes, are additional.

Thus, an APA allowance calculated at 20% of the charter fee is required. VAT is already included in the charter fee.

When chartering in the Caribbean, the charter fee includes the services of a captain and crew, meals, standard ship’s bar, fuel, cruising taxes, permits, and all expenses related to running the vessel, and use of onboard sports equipment. The charter fee does not include (optional) crew gratuities, premium beverages and fine wines, excessive alcoholic consumption, off-yacht excursions, dockage, telephone, airport transfers, or similar expense incurred by the Charterer.

Thus, an APA allowance calculated at 5% of the charter fee is required. A refundable deposit costing $2,000 and positioning fees for Leewards ($1,500) and Windwards ($2,000) is also required. Taxes, re-location fees, cruising permits, and licenses may be extra.
