We had a blast on RIPPLE and are definitely interested in going again. Mark is a very seasoned captain and made us feel incredibly comfortable. And we loved Damon (his mate) who’s going back to skiing/snowboarding, but was also great! Mark knows the islands well and we charted a great trip even with the tropical wave coming through at the tail end. We felt as safe as can be – Mark puts safety first which really was important to us. And having the dive compressor on board was a major plus. No going back to smaller boats. It was in excellent shape well taking care by the crew. Our experience was amazing! We could not say enough good things about Gabriella, Emilia and Dina. Emilia the cook was phenomenal and better than any restaurant, far exceeded our expectations. For me the highlight of the trip was the sailing. Captain Thanasis is a wonderful captain. The way he handled the boat was amazing. His suggestions about where to go were right on. We loved all of the little coves and towns. Just the right balance of quiet and busy. His itinerary worked perfectly. Mariana was so sweet and efficient. Always there when we needed her, but not overly present. She even learned that I like sun tea and was happy to make some for me each day. George is a great cook, each meal was delightful. Loved the fish and creative ways he served it. We were very pleased with the greek inspired food. It is nice to eat food from the country we are in. Looking back, it might have been nice to have some lighter lunches, perhaps just a salad or sandwich for lunch occasionally. I only say this because I brought back a few extra pounds I don’t really need. We will probably wait a couple of years for our next trip, but definitely will be looking at a different area of the world. I will pass your email on to my kids and see if they have anything to add.
