Our family had the trip of a lifetime on Sip Sip this past June. We arrived by dingy to rum punches on the stern, served with a smile by Lida. Our luggage was immediately whisked away. Captain Chris took us all on a tour of the boat. The boat has a sleek and modern vibe that makes it feel like a floating, spa oasis. We slept in a queen cabin and it was the most comfortable charter bed I’ve ever slept on. The bathrooms are enormous and there is plenty of storage for a week-s worth of clothes and necessities. Our son slept in the bunk room with a friend and it was perfect for them. Lida served up a gourmet breakfast every morning and incredible dinners each evening. Most of our lunches were spent at beach restaurants on the different islands. We had some complicated food requests on this trip and Leda made sure that my husband had the correct food for each meal and made them delicious. Chris and Lida are expert sailors, hosts and staff (staff wrong word?). They made the vacation by offering suggestions as to locations to stop and explore and providing us with the space we needed to relax when under sail. The boat itself has many areas to spread out and read, sunbathe, or even work ( if you have to!). The highlight for the parents and the kids were the “toys” on board. Each day we would find a place to snorkel, SeaBob, hydrofoil, paddle board and dingy. We know from experience that some yacht charters charge extra for these perks but they are included on Sip Sip which is fantastic. We wanted to thank you and the rest of the team at Boatbookings for organising such a fantastic holiday in the Aeolian Islands on Summertime. We enjoyed sunny weather and beautiful scenery, but the week was made additionally special because of the amazing food served onboard. Captain Lorenzo is a fabulous chef who made great use of the local seafood and produce. The other crew members, Dani and Ilya, were friendly and accomodating and Dani makes a mean cocktail:) The yacht was scrupulously clean and maintained. I think some of the highlights were watching Stromboli erupt in the evening, swimming in the caldera of an extinct volcano at Salina, squid jigging at midnight off Alicudi and walking around Lipari town. Our kids enjoyed themselves hugely and are already thinking about a next voyage when son number two hits 30 in a few years time. We look forward to your guidance then! -- Read more --

The trip was fantastic, and both the boat and Crew over delivered. We really like the spacious layout of powerboats and the Lagoon 63. Jeremie, first and foremost, is a very capable captain. He also treated the boat well. Added bonus he is a terrific host and someone all of us enjoyed getting to know and shared many laughs. Marion is a super chef and blew us away. Chartered the 4.8 in the Ionian Island in August 2023. It was the perfect vessel for our party of 4 couples. The common areas were spacious and comfortable. The rear main area wall recesses up into the ceiling, allowing for a more expanded open experience. The captain and hostess (a married couple) were fabulous and really added to the overall extremely pleasant time spent. We all enjoyed every aspect of this experience. Antonio was wonderful and we had the best day yesterday! He was informative as to the local scenery, the history, and the food and his crew were fantastic! The trip was a great success. The crew was PERFECT!...can’t say enough about each person. Food exceeded all expectations. Gained a lot of historical knowledge from the crew, which was awesome. Enjoyed the route we took and were encouraged to take the other direction over a span of 10-14 days. Towns were beautiful and people were very nice/accommodating. My personal favorite was Nafplion. Hydra was a neat little village. But ultimately my favorite is hanging on the boat, and being in the water. My only ‘wish’….no games on the boat. Would have been nice to have a few board games to choose from on a couple of evenings. First World problems…right? :-) Boat was unbelievable. Not always necessary to have such a LARGE boat, but it certainly served the purpose with 4 couples. Service was impeccable. Again, I just can’t scream loud enough how much we all enjoyed the whole crew. Felt like we were leaving friends and family when we left. Perfect! Our charter in Croatia was great! I personally think that the boat made the trip. We really enjoyed life aboard and entire crew was terrific. We were all in agreement that a land-based exploration would have been far less interesting or fun! The wine drinkers were really impressed with the wines. Croatian wines were not on anybodys radar and I believe that every single wine that was served received high praise. Chef Mario did a great job. And we chose to only have one dinner out. Restaurant Mario was the Runaway favorite we were lucky to have good weather and really enjoyed the onboard toys. Captain Ratko also made sure that we had an opportunity to get in a walk or a run almost every single day and that was greatly appreciated. The trip was unparalleled. I could write a book with all of the special moments and highlights! The crew was wonderful to work with and provided such a high level of professionalism combined with so many personal touches. Our chef Gianlucca consistenly provided Michelin-star quality offerings - the only reason we wanted to eat off the boat was to explore the region, but even compared to the Michelin class restaurants in the area, the food and wine pairings on board was consistently better. He was so skilled and knowledgable. Our captain and deckhand were wonderful as well. We always felt safe, had many moments of humor, but knew that we were always in good hands - from the managing of the boat to the knowledge and recommendations for trips in the area. As an added bonus, Gianlucca took professional pictures throughout our week and we were treated to a photo album of our wonderous adventures to look back upon and share with family and friends.
