7 Day Croatia Crewed Motor Yacht Charter

Charter a crewed yacht to explore the islands of the Adriatic Sea along the glorious Dalmatian coast, starting in magical Montenegro and sailing through the UNESCO world heritage site of the Bay of Kotor before cruising into Croatia. Numerous stretches of beaches surrounded by sparkling blue waters makes these idyllic islands, along with the buzzing towns in Montenegro and Croatia, the perfect grounds for roaming by yacht. With the party destination of Hvar offering beach bars where you can stay out until the early hours of the morning, mixed with the tranquil island of Cavtat being ideal for relaxing, there's something to suit everyone.

Day 1: Porto Montenegro to Cavtat

Embarking from the beautiful Porto Montenegro, cruise to Cavtat, a charming town southeast of Dubrovnik filled with an eclectic mix of old and new architecture, as well as lovely bays and beaches. Cavtat is the perfect place to start your holiday; unlike bigger Croatian towns, it is not flooded with tourists but retains its feel of an exclusive retreat with many cafes, bars and restaurants dotted along the cobbled streets. Head to the Café Posejdon for a sundowner before dining at the Bugenvilla, which serves modern European dishes and has a very reasonable 3-course menu!

Day 2: Cavtat to Otok Sipan Island

After a leisurely morning, head to Otok Lokrum which is a short distance away; this island radiates tranquillity with shady subtropic plants making up the most part of the landscape. Here, take the opportunity to explore the Botanical gardens before settling in at one of the beaches for a swim and sunbathe. Later in the day, continue onto Otok Sipan Island, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands. The active fishing village of Sipanska Luka is welcoming and hosts a few small bars and taverns; spend your evening here enjoying a refreshing cocktail on the docks.

Day 3: Sipan to Polace, Mijet

On your third day, continue onto Polace, where you will have the chance to try out the water toys or kayak through the azure waters of this stunning National Park. Anchor in the sheltered bay and have lunch at one of the local restaurants, before having a stroll to look at the number of ancient ruins that still remain. Have a go at fishing or simply sit back and relax on your aft deck before having a delicious dinner onboard.

Day 4: Mijet to Korcula and Otok Badija

Heading towards the direction of Korcula, but first, stop at the 100m dive spot just off the coast where you can explore a wreck and take a glimpse of the marine life! For lunch, dine at Nonno in Korcula, where speciality foods are prepared using only the freshest local ingredients. In the afternoon, progress onto Otok Badija where you'll find picturesque beaches within secluded caves, perfect for swimming. Dive off the jetty in the harbour into the crystal clear waters before eating dinner aboard your yacht.

Day 5: Otok Badija to Scedno and Hvar Port

Scedno is your next destination to visit; this small cove is lined with fisherman's huts and it's striking natural beauty is unrivalled. The safe harbours located nearby are perfect for snorkelling and swimming! After lunch, move onto the port in Hvar: the sunniest spot in the country! Hvar is a luxurious beach destination, with elegant restaurants and a vibe of 'seeing and being seen'; for dinner, the restaurants Gariful or Passarola both serve wonderful, original dishes. Renowned for its nightlife, Hvar has an endless number of bars and clubs to party at; we recommend Carpe Diem Bar or the Pink Champagne Beach Club!

Day 6: Hvar to Milna, to Split Port

On the sixth day, visit Milna on the island of Brac; this town has welcoming bays, well-equipped marinas and charming stone houses built along the coastline. After lunch on board, take a look at the Baroque church with a classic Dalmatian bell tower and beautiful Venetian works inside. A number of activities here are possible, such as scuba diving, fishing and snorkelling. Setting off in the late afternoon, head to the port of Split; dine at the restaurant Zinfandel for some exquisite food and to sample some Croatian wines.

Day 7: Split Port to Brac

On your penultimate day, spend some time in Split, the 2nd largest city in Croatia; with its mix of ancient and modern influences and unique backdrop of mountains, Split offers fantastic grounds for exploring and perhaps a spot of shopping. Cruise to Brac, where you will be able to visit the infamous Zlatni Rat or 'Golden Horn' beach; a stretch of sand surrounded by turquoise waters, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Enjoy the water toys on board before having dinner on your aft deck with a backdrop of a glowing sunset.

Day 8: Kava Beach, disembark from Trogir

Set off early in the morning to settle at Kava Beach for a final sunbathe and dip in the sea; returning to Trogir, thank your crew before disembarking, having had a truly memorable holiday along the beautiful Croatian Coast!
