Greece Yacht Charter | Corfu
Corfu, Greece Yachting Visitors Itinerary Planning Guide
In between coastal tourist honeypots on the Ionian Sea, Corfu is a rural and sleepy island. The greenest of the Greek Islands, and carpeted by thousands of olive trees, Corfu is a must-visit on your next luxury yacht charter. The only way to experience the Corfu in all its glory, with beautiful craggy cliffs flanking a sandy beach and charming tavernas, shops and restaurants, is from a charter on the water.
Corfu offers relatively light and predictable winds and clear waters as is true of Greece's Ionian Islands. You can read more about chartering in the area in our Ionian Islands Yacht Charter and Sailing Holiday Guide.
With its tile-roofed Venetian quarter, Corfu Town, a UNESCO heritage site is a real highlight on the island. For a spot of culture, the Asian Art Museum is world-class and the Byzantine Museum houses an impressive array of icons from the 15th to 19th century. Corfu remains the intellectual and artistic roots of Greece and their legacy is the fine cuisine along with the incredible museums.
