Beaulieu-sur-Mer ('beautiful place on the sea') is a pretty seaside resort and port right in the heart of the French Riviera. It borders the communes of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Èze, and Villefranche-sur-Mer and is located 6 miles (10 km) east from Nice and west of Monaco.
Beaulieu is sheltered from the cold Alps winds because if its place at the base of beautiful cliffs, and is graced with lush vegetation, including oranges, lemons, and bananas, as well as palms.
Beaulieu is an excellent place to start a day charter, as it offers a large marina and many boats, and the key French Riviera ports of Villefranche, St Jean Cap Ferrat, Nice, Cannes, St Tropez and Monaco are all within reach.
