A crewed sailing yacht will enable you to discover the Côte d'Azur with ease, with an experienced crew to help you at every stage, enabling you to have an authentic sailing experience that you'll never forget!
Day 1: Monaco to Villefranche
Arrive in Monaco and take a look around the Palais Princier de Monaco (The Prince of Monaco's Palace) and admire the panoramic views of the coastline, before heading down to the port to meet the fantastic crew that you will be spending the next week with and get comfortable onboard your luxury sailing yacht come early evening.
Your first stop will be St Jean Cap Ferrat, an idyllic seaside town that is the perfect place to spend the evening and relax. If you are feeling active, there is a lovely stone path that allows you to hike the entire 'Cap' by the sea, or if you are in need of complete relaxation why not visit Paloma Beach, a wonderful beach club that is the stomping ground of VIPs and celebrities alike. This is a great place to practice some watersports in the bay, and admire the spectacular views of Beaulieu, Cap d'Ail and the cliffs at Eze. In the evening make your way over to Villefranche, and enjoy a delicious meal in the harbour as you watch the sunset.
Day 2: Villefranche to Cannes
On the morning of your second day, explore the picturesque winding streets of Villefranche and enjoy a coffee and a croissant in one of the many traditional cafés. Then sail around to the Cap d'Antibes, where you can set up anchor and explore the beautiful rock pools and coral reefs, before heading over to Iles de Lerins. The two main islands, Île Ste-Marguerite and Île St-Honorat, are a chance to escape the lively and bustling towns of the French Riviera for the afternoon and enjoy complete tranquility, as there are no hotels on the islands and only a few select restaurants. A must is to try the local wines produced on the islands by the monks on St-Honorat; alternatively, the bustling chic Guerite Restaurante on Ste-Marguerite will provide you with a delicious meal overlooking Cannes. In the evening, head over to Cannes to experience this beautiful town that comes alive at night. Enjoy a delicious seafood meal in one of the numerous Michelin Star restaurants by the old port, watch the sun go down from the top of the sky lounge at the Radisson Blu and then make the most of the night life - visit Baôli or Gotha and dance the night away!
Day 3: Cannes to St Tropez
On Day 3, you can sail down the coastline to the famous town of St Tropez. On your way, stop at some of the charming seaside villages that line the coast such as Mandelieu-la-Napoule and Théoule-sur-mer, where you can make the most of your on board water toys and try out jet skiing or waterskiing in the open and quieter bays. Then cruise over to St Tropez - where you can wander around the winding streets and enjoy a cocktail in one the many cafés in the Place des Lices. Enjoy lunch at Club 55; basking in the sun, sipping sundowners and nibbling on delicious snacks, relish the sophisticated and modern vibe. Step into the shade for an afternoon discovering the boutiques where you can find one of a kind items.
Day 4: St Tropez to Île du Lévant & Port-Cros
Day 5: Îles de Porquerolles to Cassis & Parc National des Calanques
On the morning of Day 5, make the most of your time on Porquerolles and relax on the white sand beaches that are lined with brilliant-turquoise waters and pine trees, maquis and eucalyptus, and home to 114 bird species. Even though you won't want to leave this peaceful paradise, later start your journey up towards another spectacular area of the Riviera, Cassis and Les Calanques, which are the pride and joy of the Marseillais who frequently visit the national park throughout the summer. Les Calanques are a series of rocky peninsulas that are covered in natural flora and fauna and boast some beautiful white beaches, some of which are only accessible by kayak!
Day 6: Calanques to Le Lavandou
On Day 6, enjoy your morning exploring the town of Cassis and grab some breakfast before setting sail back towards St Tropez. Make a stop at the beautiful seaside resort of Le Lavendou, which is set along 12km of white sandy beach, and explore the old town that is charming and traditional in the day time, and then comes alive at night with festivals and parties going on throughout the year!
Day 7: Pampelonne Beach
Today, sail around to Pampelonne Beach, known around the world as a spot often frequented by celebrities and VIPS! Enjoy a relaxing day in some the best beach clubs in the world, such as Club 55 and Nikki Beach. Spend the evening here too, starting with a delicious seafood meal, swiftly following on to cocktails, and then stay overnight in one of the beautiful Kon Tiki Huttes that are set right on the beach front!
Day 8: Disembark St Tropez
On your final morning, spend your last moments soaking up the sun on Pampelonne Beach. Or, if you are looking to pack in the culture, why not do a wine tasting tour at one of St Tropez or Ramatuelle's world renowned wineries and vineyards. You will be sure to have a relaxing morning with your family and friends, seeing out the holiday with a lavish experience that you will remember for years to come.
