Lürssen Yachts has grown from modest beginnings in 1875 to become a world-renowned builder of naval ships, commercial vessels and extraordinary yachts.
Today the descendants of founder Friedrich Lürssen continue to produce stunning vessels, employing a talented team of experts and utilizing state-of-the-art technology.
Expanding from a single boat-building shed, the present shipyard sprawls over more than five hundred thousand square feet of space in four locations in north Germany, three near Bremen, and one on the Kiel Canal in Rendsburg.
Lürssen has produced many celebrated superyachts, including Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's 414' Octopus, and business magnate Larry Ellison's 452’ Rising Sun.
Lürssen Yachts 'award-winning builds include the 197’ Arkley, which won ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ at the 2010 World Superyacht Awards in London.
