Day 4: Folegandros to Ios and Amorgos
Today you can visit the hilly island of Ios and stop off in the port of Ormos harbor. Stop in a restaurant for lunch and you will be sure to enjoy the latest catch of the local fishermen who supply the restaurants. The beaches of this island are what make it so special, being largely unpopulated and ending beautifully in the crystal waters of the Aegean, anchoring in a bay and taking your tender into the shore to one of these peaceful beaches is a must-do.
This afternoon, after some time on the beach, or swimming in the bay, sail to the isle of Paros whose natural beauty and fabulous footpaths connecting the villages are truly breath-taking. Some of the finest restaurants of the Cyclades can be found here for dinner this evening, including Marios in the old Venetian port of Naoussa, and Barbarossa, a wonderful seafood restaurant that is not to be missed! Another great restaurant is Levantis, with a vine-covered courtyard and exciting menu, this is sure to be a memorable meal.
