Boatbookings.com Announces Strong Growth in 2010
Opens Spanish Office
Boatbookings.com, the world's leading online yacht charter broker, announces that the company's revenues grew by 30% in 2010 over a solid 2009 performance. Trading was particularly strong in the Caribbean, Bahamas, SE Asia/Thailand and Sardinia. Additionally, investments in the Indian Ocean and Southeast Asia began to show results.
"We were very happy with the growth we experienced last year, in a market that was still very tough overall for the yachting business." noted Tom Virden, Founder and Managing Director of Boatbookings.com. "Our investments in supply, content and technology continued to drive growth and market share, and we are particularly pleased that the US clients are returning and booking in the Caribbean and Bahamas. We have seen the momentum accelerate in the first two months of 2011, and so are looking forward to a very robust year this year."
Additionally, Boatbookings.com has opened an office in Valencia, Spain, servicing the key charter areas of Mallorca, Ibiza, Valencia, the Canary Islands the Costa Brava and the Costa del Sol.
