Boatbookings.com Announces Record 1st Quarter

Boatbookings.com, a leader in online boat chartering, announced a record quarter in nearly all aspects of the business in the 1st Calendar Quarter of 2006. Traffic, Visits, Page Views, Bookings, and Revenue all hit records for the company. Boatbookings continued on its run of being a profitable company every quarter in it's existence.

During the quarter, Boatbookings had over 30,000 unique visitors, and 50,000 visits from virtually every country in the world. These visitors viewed over 600,000 pages on the site - and average of 12 pages per visitor! Our inventory of boats increased to over 3000 worldwide, with signifcant increases of boats in the Caribbean, due to our new Ft Lauderdale Office, and throughout the Mediterranean.

Boatbookings.com is a privately held company and does not publically release it's financial statements, however the company had record bookings, revenues, and net earnings. The company had an excellent MIPM conference, and continued to book boats of all sizes, both sail and motor, throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean. Demand was particularly strong for Palma, Ibiza, Cannes and the BVI.
