Boatbookings Announces Real Time Availability on over 2000 yachts
Boatbookings, the world's leading yacht charter site, now offers users the ability to find real time availability and pricing online, allowing for true automated booking of these yachts real time. Through this new functionality, users just enter the dates and location they want to charter, and they can immediately find which bareboat sailboats are available. They can then reserve or put an option on these boats through the system.

Tom Virden, Executive Chairman, said "we happy to finally be able to offer real time booking functionality on many of our bareboat charters, which allows the client to do all the research and planning immediately from their desktop. We, of course, continue to offer a full broker service at no charge, but for those who know exactly the yacht they want, this can save them time and allows them to charter in a few clicks".
The availability comes directly from the production system used by fleet managers to manage their charters, so the data is extremely accurate. Other brokers offer real time availability that depends on the fleet managers updating their system regularly, often providing out of date information to the client. Implementation is currently in stage one, and with functionality being added throughout Q1 2013.
